Charas is one of the oldest forms of cannabis concentrate. But what exactly is it, where does it come from, and how is it made?
Charas can be defined as a psychoactive concentrate made by hand-rubbing live mature female cannabis flowers to collect the resin. It is the oldest form of concentrate, the simplest and most efficient method to collect fresh resin from wild cannabis plants at the peak of their flowering cycle.
This method of production remains the collecting process at the feet of the Himalayas in Bhutan, Nepal and Northern India, mountainous regions with a high-humidity climate. Words cannot encompass the experience of collecting resin from wild cannabis plants in the remote valleys of the Himalayas.
